The Royal Kona Resort offers standard guestrooms in the Bay Tower and upgraded accommodations in the Alii and Lagoon Towers.
Bay Tower Rooms
Our standard guestrooms are located in the Bay Tower. The Bay Tower is the north building closest to the village of Kailua-Kona and houses the massage and spa center. The Resort’s Bay Tower was refurbished in 2001 and offers travelers a choice of comfortable, value-priced guestrooms.
Each guestroom offers 390 square feet and each corner
king room offers 450 square feet of living space.
Alii and Lagoon Tower Rooms
The well-appointed Alii and Lagoon Tower guestrooms were remodeled in 2006 and feature re-designed bathrooms, updated room amenities, and plush bedding.
The open-air lobby, Front Desk, Don the Beachcomber signature
restaurant, Don's Mai Tai Bar and sundry shop are all located in the Alii
Tower. The Lagoon Tower is the south building located next to the private
beach and saltwater lagoon. Located in the Lagoon Tower are the beauty
salon and self-service laundry room.
