injury or damage arising from the use of this site. The site
is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties
of any kind, either express or implied, including and not limited
to warranties or title or implied warranties of merchantability

Proprietary Information
Information, ideas, text, logos, trademarks, service marks, design elements,
graphics, photographs, audio clips, formats and software contained on this
website are the exclusive property of Hawaiian Hotels & Resorts or its

Reservations Policy
Payment Information
All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. Once you confirm your credit card information and intention to book we will charge your credit card to reserve your reservation. For stays of one night we will charge the full price of the reservation. For all other lengths of stay a two-night deposit, plus tax, will be charged during the following dates: from January 3, 2010 - December 21, 2010 at Royal Lahaina Resort, Kaanapali Ocean Inn, and Lahaina Inn; and from January 3, 2010 - October 3, 2010 and October 10, 2010 - December 21, 2010 at Royal Kona Resort.
The full stay will be charged to your credit card for reservations arriving December 22, 2010 - January 2, 2011 at Royal Lahaina Resort, Kaanapali Ocean Inn, and Lahaina Inn; and from October 4, 2010 - October 9, 2010 and December 22, 2010 - January 2, 2011 at Royal Kona Resort.
Any remaining payments will be charged by the hotel (Royal Lahaina Resort, Kaanapali Ocean Inn, Lahaina Inn, or Royal Kona Resort) at time of check-out.
Room Rates
Room rates are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD) per room, for two persons. Room rates do not include individual resort fees, taxes, gratuities, other guest services and incidentals, and parking charges, where applicable. All package deliveries received prior to check-in will be assessed handling fees. Please contact the hotel directly to arrange storage and for specific information regarding any additional charges.
For security reasons the Royal Kona Resort will not accept package deliveries for non-registered guests. Packages delivered for hotel guests prior to 24 hours of check-in will need approval from hotel. Please contact the Royal Kona Resort directly for all handling and storage fees at (808) 329-3111.
Hotel
The hotel reservation is confirmed when credit card payment is processed. We
will email you a confirmation of your reservation within 24 hours of submission.
Normal check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m. Late
check-out is subject to charge.
Special Requests
We will make every effort to fulfill your preference requests;
however they are not guaranteed as rooms are assigned at check-in.
Taxes
Room rates do not include 4.166% Hawaii State General Excise Tax and 9.25% Hawaii
Transient Accommodations Tax. Taxes will be added to the total charges at check-out.
Taxes are subject to change without notice and any increases will be passed on
to the guest.
Daily car rental rates do not include a 4.166% Hawaii State General Excise Tax.
Daily car rental plus the Hawaii State General Excise Tax are due and payable
at time of check-out. Incidental fees assessed by Dollar Rent-A-Car are due and
payable to Dollar Rent-A-Car at time of car pick-up.
Car Rental
If you book one of our car inclusive packages, you will pick up
and return your car at the Dollar Rent-A-Car location based on
the island of your stay (Kahului Airport in Maui and Kona International
Airport at Keahole on the Big Island of Hawaii). You can use your
name to pick up the car or call us at 800-22-ALOHA to obtain the
Dollar confirmation number (allow at least 3 days after making
reservation). You will receive a voucher for the car rental at
check-out to give to Dollar Rent-A-Car when you return the car. Cars
are rented on a 24-hour basis. Cars need to be reserved in the
name of the person driving the car. Dollar Rent-A-Car will require
a credit card also in the name of the driver for incidental taxes
(Hawaii State Vehicle Rental Surcharge, Airport Concession Recovery
Fee and Vehicle Licensing and Registration Fee) paid directly to
Dollar Rent-A-Car.
These fees are approximately:
Hawaii State Vehicle Rental Surcharge - $3.00 per rental day
Vehicle Licensing and Registration Fee - $0.26 to $0.75 per rental day
Airport Concession Recovery Fee - 11.11%
Customer Facility Charge (CFC) - $1.00 per rental day, plus tax
Drivers must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license
and major credit card in the driver’s name to rent a car. Drivers 21 to
24 years of age are subject to an additional surcharge of $27.00 per day plus
tax, per person, paid directly to Dollar Rent-A-Car. Hawaii law requires child
restraint seats for all children under 4 years old and less than 40 pounds; these
are available for rent from Dollar. If you would like to make any changes, upgrades
or ask questions about your car, please call us at 800-22-ALOHA.
CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Voluntary Change Fee
Changes to hotel and/or car rental that result in additional
monies owed are due and payable at time of change.
Cancellations After Purchase
In all cases, any cancellation of reservations after purchase will result in the below hotel and car rental cancellation penalties. Please note that in cases where a credit card refund is due, Hawaiian Hotels & Resorts will only refund the credit card with which the reservation was made. Please allow up to two (2) weeks for a credit to appear on your credit card statement.
Royal Lahaina Resort, Kaanapali Ocean Inn, and Lahaina Inn
For travel January 3, 2010 - December 21, 2010 any cancellations made three (3) days or less prior to arrival will result in a penalty charge of two-nights of the total package price.
For travel December 22, 2010 - January 2, 2011 any cancellations made after November 22, 2010 will result in a penalty charge of the full package price.
Royal Kona Resort
For travel January 3, 2010 – October 3, 2010 and October 10, 2010 – December 21, 2010 any cancellations made three (3) days or less prior to arrival will result in a penalty charge of two-nights of the total package price.
For travel October 4, 2010 – October 9, 2010 any cancellations made after September 4, 2010 will result in a penalty charge of the full package price.
For travel December 22, 2010 – January 2, 2011 any cancellations made after November 22, 2010 will result in a penalty charge of the full package price.
Cancellation policy is based upon 12:01 a.m.; day of arrival.
In case of illness or death of passenger, please call 800-22-ALOHA for special assistance.
Refund Policy
Once travel commencement date is reached, the package is totally
non-refundable. Partially used packages are non-refundable. Cancellation
fees will be assessed and are non-refundable for any reason,
including illness or any other emergencies.
